Season 2 of CVS2 Ranbats kicks off!

Oh man... there is not much left to say after such a great tournament. The runitback group was there along with many others. 15 people came out and we were still missing a few of the regulars. The field was pretty deep so there was alot of great games. Once again Leezy takes the win but this season is looking to be alot more challenging. Were gunning for you Leezy. We'll be at the San Jose bar and grill for a keystone event on Feb 11th (check schedule for location), please join. First Happy Holidays to the Fighting Game Community , Gamers , and the rest of you scrubs

Second, what is happening .... does any body notice how the FGC(fighting game community) is blowing up. In the Bay area we have South Town , Tight or Fight , The Made , Freedomonia , Star Gate, Ram Nation , Side tourneys (Shin00bi's, 925). But also around the nation with the tournament season and streams going on. Twitch.tv and challonge are a strong presence in the FGC and is a nice service for us. This thing is gettig big... get out there , meet people get involved. Why Not?

Third .... Us at RunItBackArcade put some new spots on the schedule. Happy to announce that South Town Old Geezer Tourneys are back (cvs2, MVC2, 3s) and will be streamed by IPlayWinner. Look for some other side tourneys and events for us to hold in the future.

The Scene:
The cvs2 scene has always been that prided it self on any thing goes. A
true warriors spirit , no crybaby shit. But we have also had a game that
we never had to ban anything for being too broken or "unfair". This game has
a high skill threshold , meaning that there are many ways to improve and some skills
have endless levels of proficiency. CVS2 is a classy game , a "mans game" , where any thing goes and hard work pays off. And this scene holds true to those ideas.

Things are starting to ramp up for this game. Southtown arcade ranbats are back, and the first one has definitely set the tone for this season.

The runitback group has a full schedule coming up. Next tourney will be at the San Jose bar and grill (check the schedule). We hope to hold our own event soon so look for that. Until then you can see us playing at MLG (Milpitas golf land) or at The MADE in Oakland on Tuesdays and of course at Southtown arcade.
